How it works
Paste every tag into the <head> of each language version. Each page in the set must list the full set of alternates — including a self-reference — so the mapping is bidirectional. Locale codes follow language or language-REGION (e.g. fr, en-GB, es-419). The x-default tag is optional but recommended for unmatched visitors.
